AJ Rockwell is a native of Fairhope, Alabama and grew up in Mobile. With a background in fine art, AJ brings a highly illustrative and detail-oriented approach to tattooing, working across a wide range of styles from fine line minimalist tattoos to large-scale, fully saturated color pieces.
AJ began tattooing full time in a Mobile street shop in 2022 and joined The Bell Rose Tattoo in 2024. That experience helped build both technical range and confidence across different client requests, from smaller fine line designs to more developed custom compositions.
